My first attempt at bread pudding. SUCCESS! So gorgeous coming out of the oven I had to take a picture. And it tasted just as good as it looked!

Got a nice sunburn watching the Final - on the sidewalk, the place was so crowded (more with Spanish fans than Dutch). I had Dutch flags on my cheeks, and was rooting best I could, but... Spain won. Ah, well. Good match.

Rooting for Uruguay in the 3/4 Place Final - I got mom and dad into it!Apologies for the blur; I thought I'd get more pics, as well as video of mom cheering (and getting upset), but I myself was too involved in the match!

Finally made it to a show at the Long Beach Arts Theatre, a restored landmark.
A lovely place, though I wouldn't see a big blockbuster there. But I did enjoy seeing Joan Rivers' pic. She's inspiring, but I certainly don't envy her!(taken in very dim lighting with my cell; hence the poor quality!)
